Welcome to Shuttermutt Photo. Our goal is to make your portrait experience as seamless, meaningful, and joyful as possible. These Terms of Service outline the guidelines for working together and using our website. By booking a session or accessing our services, you agree to the terms below.

1. Services Provided

Shuttermutt Photo offers fine art pet photography sessions, custom artwork design, and luxury printed products. All services are subject to availability and may change at any time.

2. Booking & Session Policies

• Booking: A signed agreement and a non-refundable retainer are required to secure your session date.

• Cancellations/Rescheduling: Session retainers are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, we ask for at least 7 days’ notice so we can accommodate you.

• Pet Behavior: Your pet’s comfort and safety are our top priority. Owners are responsible for the care, supervision, and behavior of their pets during the session. We will never force a pet into an unsafe situation.

3. Artwork & Products

• Each piece of artwork is custom-created for you and your pet, and as such, all sales are final once an order is placed.

• Delivery timelines for final artwork vary depending on product type and production process; we will provide estimated timelines during your ordering appointment.

• We cannot guarantee exact color matching due to variations in screens and printing processes, though we work with trusted professional labs to ensure the highest quality.

4. Payment Terms

• Payments may be made by credit card, debit card, or other accepted methods as outlined during booking.

• Final balances for sessions and artwork orders are due before products are delivered.

• Retainers and payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Image Rights & Usage

• Shuttermutt Photo retains copyright ownership of all images created.

• Clients are granted personal-use rights for artwork and products purchased. Images may not be copied, scanned, altered, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

• Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Shuttermutt Photo may use images for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes. We respect client privacy, and exceptions can be arranged upon request.

6. Liability & Safety

• Shuttermutt Photo is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during sessions, whether involving pets, owners, or third parties.

• We are not liable for events outside our control (such as illness, weather, or natural events) that may delay or affect your session or artwork delivery.

• We reserve the right to end a session if a pet’s or our own safety or well-being is at risk.

7. Website Use

• All content and images on this website are the property of Shuttermutt Photo and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without permission.

• Our website may contain links to third-party services. We are not responsible for the practices or content of those third-party sites.
